Stephen,
the issue you report is due to a recent rework on the AppBarMenu.
The html of the menu has changed in structure in order to be compatible with a
drop-down menu theme. And the maincss.css has been changed accordily.
So in order to solve the issue you just have to change how your Turtle
application menu is build. This is, for sure, based on a .FTL because the Menu
widget has been updated to render a compatible markup.
You can give a look to the example application that is using a correct FTL
AppMenu.
This patch actually breakes all other menus and must be reverted.
