Unless you want to do major refactoring it's best to disable webapps
and not entire components (can be done in the various ofbiz-
component.xml files).
If you are interested in reasons for this there have been a number of
discussions that you can find by searching the mailing list archives
(or on nabble).
On a side note, because this relates to the use of OFBiz and not the
development of the software in the project this sort of question
should go on the user mailing list instead of the dev one.
