Yes, it fix this issue indeed. Not sure tough that it does not introduce
others. I had a quick look (in FF, after checking the change in IE8) and did
not find anything but the fact that in the promo page the buttons are stuck to
the left panel which is not a big deal since I only found that in the
showAllPromotions page. Could you have a look to see if there are no other side
effects? I alrady checked the mainpage, product detail (where the footer is
stuck at left but this was before the change anyway, I open a Jira for that)
and check out 1s page (where we already know there is an issue with the check
out block being push at bottom)
