Hi everybody,
How does OpenOffice know what program to load for a specific microsoft office document?
I know it's not using the file extensions because I changed some of the excel documents extensions to word extensions and OpenOffice was still able to load them with the right application.
I don't think is using the unix "file" command since it always returns application/msword mime type for all microsoft office documents.
Can anybody please give me some explanation of how OpenOffice might be handling
the above scenario.
