Well, that is the weird part. The generated link seemed to be the same as for
Chrome, but gave me a 404. I tried reloading, clearing the cache and
reloading, restarting FF, still 404...
Just tried it again. All goes well, takes me through the download page, click
on the download button, that takes me to the Contributing page, then it still
throws a 404. The actual link it generates is
<http://download.services.openoffice.org/files/stable/3.2.1/OOo_3.2.1_Linux_x86_64_install-
rpm_en-US.tar.gz>
OK must be the URL. Just pasted into Chrome and Opera, and got the same 404.
Yet Chrome still functions correctly if I start from the original test page
(Chrome generates
<http://download.services.openoffice.org/files/stable/3.2.1/OOo_3.2.1_Linux_x86_install-
rpm_en-US.tar.gz>, which seem to be the same. The URL shown in the address bar
at the Contributing page is
<http://download.openoffice.org/contribute.html?download=mirrorbrain&files/stable/3.2.1/OOo_3.2.1_Linux_x86_install-
rpm_en-US.tar.gz>.
The only difference I see is the extra "_64", which I had to get rid of
when I compared the two strings. You might try a comparison in your
favorite programming language, before the possible distortion of emails.
