This might offer much better system interactivity under heavy RAM workloads compared to alternative OSes which don't use RAM compression (e.g. Windows). I like that. If /dev/zram0 really dynamically scales up and down and occupies no real memory when swap is not used, I can't see any disadvantages there. The only thing is that it will prevent using hibernation by default, but that's a whole different topic that is dealt with separately and I understand it's sadly a very broken feature at the moment anyway.
