Oh I had no clue about that.... I'll try it after my experiment 
mentioned in the "Splitfile inserts broken (among other things)   in 
unstable" is over.

Have you tried using a more recent latest freenet.exe from snapshots?  The
Update
Snapshots thingy automatically downloads the latest one and a bug relating
to JavaMem was fixed something like a week and a half ago.
