Dear IxDA members, If you're passionate about what you do for a living and want to help improve the world, please consider joining the global leadership team of the Interaction Design Association. IxDA works to help advance the profession of interaction design in a fast-paced world which needs our expertise.
I have grown both professionally and personally during my two years on the Board. The IxDA Board of Directors meets monthly for conference calls to discuss organizational business. We also meet twice annually in person, once at the Interaction conference and once for our annual retreat. At this point in time, those travel costs are absorbed by the organization. I'm always invigorated by discussions with my fellow Board members, and energized by the opportunity to meet with dedicated interaction design practitioners at the forefront of the discipline.
