Those messages can be ignored - I see them too. Have you tried with the firewall disabled?
ok lets try some more debugging: If you start the server with: slim.exe --perfwarn=0 Does it give a continuous list of activity (showing the server is running, its just you can't connect to it) If so try starting the server with slim.exe --d_http Do you see anything when you try to open a web browser to it.
