korgs generally have nice presets and overall a very clean sound - but if the triton is the evolution of their operating system - meaning if the trinity's OS sucks as much as the one you use with the triton - that alone is offputting.
i fucked around with the triton for a good deal of time in the store and it's just sooo non-intuitive... worth a shot for 400 though if you can spare it... you might like korg better than i have so far. ~a > -----Original Message----- > From: Daniel Norman [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, August 07, 2003 6:28 AM > To: Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List > Subject: [dnb-prod] Korg Trinity or similar > > > Hi, > > Just been looking into getting another keyboard as a controller > and sound source. > > I liked the look of the Korg Trinity (sh for about 400 now) and > just wondered if anyone else had any experience of them or could > recommend anything else for the same kind of money... > > I don't need lots of controllers as i can use my Supernova knobs > for that, but I would like some nice 720 degrees / Good Looking > / Alaska+Paradox / Klute type ethereal synth sounds thrown in too. > > Any suggestions for a semi weighted controller with aftertouch > and deep sounds? > > Thanks > > Dan > > --- > Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. > Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). > Version: 6.0.502 / Virus Database: 300 - Release Date: 18/07/03 > > > --- > Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk > You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To unsubscribe send a blank email to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > --- Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
