For anyone who uses New Relic, I wrote a plugin agent that provides a rich
dashboard UI for Dropwizard applications with support for alerting whenever
your application enters an unhealthy state.

The company I work for has been using it in production for some time now to
monitor critical DW applications and I've been super happy with it --
particularly its ability to alert on healthcheck failures and maintain
historical state about which check(s) failed.

For a preview of the dashboard see:

A New Relic (NR) plugin agent for monitoring the health and performance of

This plugin allows you to easily receive alerts via NR whenever your

The NR dashboard for this plugin provides historical views of your

Multiple Dropwizard applications can be monitored from the same plugin
> instance. The plugin polls all configured Dropwizard applications every
> minute and publishes the appropriate data into NR. The plugin handles
