Hi Marc,

I have very positive experiences with the combination of a Nikon CoolPix 
950
plus a CompactFlash card Adapter for the PCMCIA Slot of the 2400c. With 
this
combo we did a 11-parts-MacWorld EXPO report from SanFran earlier this 
year.
You may have a look at the results here: www.macguardians.de (right side, 
click
under MacReview at 'MacWorld Expo Bericht'). The transfer via 
FlashCard-PCMCIA-
adapter to the hd of the 2400 was very quick. We used PhotoShop for 
downsizing
the original HiRes Nikon pictures. Good performance with the "old" 
original
180MHz 603ev CPU. Highly recommended!
