The HV0A operation was definitely ok - IK0FVC came on the cluster and confirmed it and stated the end time. That latter bit was because a pirate started up on 80m SSB after the real operation went QRT, however not relevant to W3SB's question because only a few EUs worked that pirate. Otherwise it was all genuine.
