I believe this may be a configuration issue rather than a code bug. Indicator-datetime is dying when it tries to instantiate a GSettings object for com.canonical.indicator.datetime, which should be present if indicator-datetime is installed correctly.
To anyone on Precise experiencing this, my first suggestion is to uninstall then reinstall indicator-datetime because this seems very much like a configuration error. If it persists after reinstall, please attach the output of this command to this ticket: $ dconf dump /com/canonical/indicator/datetime/ Thanks. ** Changed in: indicator-datetime Status: Confirmed => Incomplete ** Changed in: indicator-datetime (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to indicator-datetime in Ubuntu.
