** Changed in: unity-2d (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to unity-2d in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/924713 Title: when searching for application in the dash right after startup, no results are shown at first Status in unity-2d package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: As in the title. Steps to reproduce: 1. Boot your PC and log in with Unity 2D 2. Press the logo key to invoke the dash 3. Search for an application, i.e. 'gedit' (without quotations) No application results are shown, only data which might be related to the search 4. Wait for about 30 seconds to one minute 5. Search again Application now suddenly shows. This behavior can be very confusion for users because it seems as if the application is either gone or the user has made a spelling mistake (while none of these two is true).
