Paul suggested that the problem might be related to the printer, and he was 100% correct. The black ink cartridge had a bad connection. I tried printing from a word processor and I had the same problem. I went to a different printer and all was okay. I should have known my problem was not Dx4Win, it never is. Usually I do something dumb. I have been using Dx4Win for around 15 years and it is the most stable program I have ever used. Paul has a lot to be proud of. If the selected font is no longer on your computer, or your printer is out of ink for the selected color, then I think that might happen.
