Tom, Great link, thanks for digging that one up.
So far my concentric knobs haven't split and are staying on the radio, and so I'm content to leave well enough alone. I was mostly grousing about the time and aggravation involved in mounting them due to the set screw threading issues with the plastic knobs and cheap allen wrench.
