Do you know whether the mapping to 'delete-char' you see here is defined in emacs itself or is in your customization? > When looking at Apple's "virtual keyboard" KeyboardViewer this key > has an X on it -- isn't this rubout/delete and not backspace? How do I pull up this "virtual keyboard"?
