The Elisp manual says nothing about rectangles. It mentions them in passing in a few places, with no explanation. Those places should at least contain a cross-reference to the Rectangles node of the Emacs manual.
Also, there are two places where the text says "a 'frame' is a rectangle". This promotes confusion. It would be better to say "a 'frame' is a rectangular area of your screen" or, better, "a 'frame' is a window-manager window". The latter is by far the most helpful description.
