I'm not sure if this is the same problem as I've been having for too
many weeks now with regular compiling of E17 on a sid system, but I
remember I had similar errors.
My guess was that it's related to this bug report:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=326936
Sadly, there isn't much movement...

I think this is same problem I have had for the past month. The latest
release of xine-lib is needed to build emotion but for the Fedora Core 4
distro it is not yet available so I do without for now.
