Guys, One of the good things about svn revisions being a number for the whole project is that it is easy to help users with problems, we can know old old is the whole thing and we can even do snapshot builds that check for exact number, avoiding users with old libraries and new binaries (issue a warning).
Checking for versions is a bit tricky, but adding the result of `svnversion` to about dialogs is something that can help. I used to add a repo_version.h that is generated automatically on build, it checks for .svn on current folder and if so calling svnversion, if not just make it empty. -- Gustavo Sverzut Barbieri http://profusion.mobi embedded systems -------------------------------------- MSN: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Skype: gsbarbieri Mobile: +55 (19) 9225-2202 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ enlightenment-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-devel
