Not sure I understand. The problem is only for the plugin dir, other
libraries went in the right place.

I "fixed" the problem temporarily by issuing:
if [ `uname -m` = "x86_64" ]; then
  sed -e 's@lib/remix@lib64/remix@g' -i configure.ac
fi
