Personally I'm kinda worried about the depth and breadth of dependencies
for eve.  I tried once to get it compiled, and gave up at what seemed
to be a never ending dependency hell.  Also, I suspect one of the
dependencies infected everything with GPL 3, but I'd have to look into
that to be sure.

I've updated my OS to something from this year, so might be worthwhile
trying that again.  Based on the theory that there might be more of the
dependencies minimum versions supplied by Ubuntu 12.04 than 10.04 did,
and not have so much to compile from scratch.
