Hello,

here's my problem with the evolume-module:

When I load the module for the first time, it seems that it has a height
of 0px, the only way to make it visible is to switch to edit mode. Now,
I can resize it and access its configuration-dialog. The "mixer"-button
is greyed out, so I can't configure any mixers. I used the module all
the time a few months ago and had no problems with it. I deleted my ~/.e
directory, but this didn't have any effect. The module doesn't print out
any errors, the only thing I get on stdout (nothing in
~/.xsession-errors) when I load the module is the following:

EDJE ERROR: An element in file
/usr/share/enlightenment/data/themes/default.edj,
group widgets/configure/main has a non expandable
part not marked as fixed size in one dimension. This needs
to be fixed in the source .edc by adding:
fixed: 1 1;
to the part that cannot expand in size if the Edje object does.
The part suspected causing this problem is:
part: "button"
Will recalc min size not allowing broken parts to affect the result.
module_theme = /usr/lib/enlightenment/modules/evolume/volume.edj
dgettext(evolume, Faces)
dgettext(evolume, Remove Face)
dgettext(evolume, Edit Mode)
dgettext(evolume, Configuration)

I remembered, that I had the option to "add a new face" when the module
used to work, but this option is gone now, too.
I don't know exactly what information to provide, as it doesn't crash or
something like that, here's what I can think of:
I'm on gentoo, kernel 2.6.16, gcc-3.4.6, alsa is not loaded as a module,
but compiled-in to my kernel. I have a soundblaster live, the modules
for it are compiled as modules. alsamixer, amixer etc. have no problems
accessing the device. I've compiled everything a few minutes ago.

I've compiled evolume with the gentoo-ebuild, so it is installed in
/usr. I've also deleted the module from /usr and compiled it as a user
(the module got installed in ~/.e), but no change...

I hope someone can help me out with this.. If you need more information,
tell me what you need to know.

Regards,
Ferdinand Hübner
