Don't kill me if I am wrong but I just checked my Office X installation and
I think the two mentioned files could be the 2 null byte files in the
/Applications/Microsoft Office X/Office folder. If so then open a terminal
window (yes be bold) and type:
sudo rm -Rf /Applications/Microsoft Office X/Office/OfficePID
sudo rm -Rf /Applications/Microsoft Office X/Office/SetupInfo
The requested password is the password you provided when you installed Mac
OS X. If you have installed office X in a non-standard location you need to
adjust the path.
