This issue has been raised recently - it just happened to me. I'd just restarted my PB G4, and ran Entourage X (under OS X 10.2.3). Send & Receive on startup was proceeding, I checked the progress window, saw that an email with an attachment was coming down, and while waiting I clicked to online access another account, when the focus jumped up to My Computer.
