Are you trying to check your email using ssl?

if so, the problem is probably w/ big pond.

However, this is not normally offered, so I would think you just need to uncheck the SSL option.


Maybe one day we will all send/receive email via ssl.

Then again, cox still sets the default email password to "password", showing their interest in security.
