For anyone looking at (or using) custom item statuses I just wanted to flag this bug - https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1616170
There is a partial fix in the bug to resolve issues around creating custom statuses but still no way to have items in those custom statuses show up on your holds pull list.
