Anyways, I have been thinking of contributing to the Fink project for a
while now, but before I commit to adopting this package I wondering what
is involved in becoming a maintainer?
Well, hopefully you would:

- Respond to emails involving your package (problem reports, etc), dont just disappear. (dont worry, you wont get many emails :)
- Submit updated versions to the package submission tracker every now and then.
- Email -devel when your packages are ready for "stable" tree and we can move them for you.

Thats about it. Maintaining is easy.

So, i can give you the package if you want :)

(Can this be added to the FAQ, or perhaps alternatively somewhere in the packaging manual, and linked to from the "packages without maintainers" page?)
