    No, I don't intend to remove gcc4 from fink 10.4 stable.
However I consider the gcc4 in fink 10.4 unstable to be
a different (and tainted) beast which should be put down.
The gcc4 in fink 10.4 stable is a legitimate release of
gcc whereas the gcc4 currently in fink 10.4 unstable is
based on an early snapshot before gcc 4.2 branched. Now
that gcc 4.2 has branched we can be certain that there
will be no further ABI or .so version changes. So any
future updates to gcc42 will only involve bug fixes.
