I'm not qualified to do this myself, but I would at least like to second the motion, and also confirm that the packages I have that use gfortran (including ca. 200 fortran programs in ccp4) are compiling flawlessly with this. It would definitely help to have a binary distribution of gfortran available via fink. I've also got several packages that might be promotable to stable if gfortran were available.
