I suggest updating ruby to 1.8.6p287 in unstable, and pushing it to
stable once people confirm it builds and runs on other system/arch
combinations. This release has a working build system and fixes a
number of vulnerabilities in the interpreter.

1.8.1 build could possible be fixed by build-conflict with openssl dev packages.

The troublesome postinst resource setting is ||d with true so it won't
fail on systems that don't have dev tools or have filesystem other
than HFS.

The script on 10.5 is different, and I have no idea when it would fail
(other than when there are no dev tools) or if it does what it should
because I am on 10.4.

Thanks

Michal
