Support Linux named pipes for external tables

I'd like to request that Linux named pipes be supported when using external
tables. The reasoning behind this is to be able to e.g. decompress a text file
into the pipe, while Firebird INSERTs it into the real table. Note that I'm
only guessing that support is not available, because I've seen references to
external tables using fseek, and I'm unable to test it at the moment.
