I connect from within IBExpert (SYSDBA with the pw I set using gsec) and see the following when doing a test: Attempting to connect to: localhost/4050:C:\Program Files (x86)\Firebird\Firebird_3_0\examples\empbuild\EMPLOYEE.FDB Connecting... Ask your database administrator to set up a Firebird login. Just FYI, similar setup works for me with 2.5 (localhost/3050 and employee db within the 2.5 folder. So, I guess I still haven't done something correction with FB 3. Any tips are very welcome.
