Sure it works.
But I've tried to use firebird .NET provider as client on mono platform
and it not always works. When I've tried to use
FbConnectionStringBuilder.Charset property and set it to "WIN1251" -
I've got exception saying that it can't find "windows-1251" encoding.
I've used latest mono - 1.1.13.4 on fedora core 4.
