First of all I have
to say that I just started yesterday to use v2 of the provider
:)
The thing is that we
have a big application at the moment developped under VS 2003. I compiled it
with VS2005 in order to migrate soon.

I'm not yet
proficient with ADO.Net 2.0

I had to
chenge the references but now everything compiles. Anyway, I stil didn't execute
the application so I don't know if it will work well

Again I didn't
execute the application

I just used
the install program. As the application compiles, I think I don't need anything
else. The thing I was missing in VS 2003 was the integration in the server
explorer. If this what you mean I didn't try it yet but will do it soon for sure

I have a few
of the old design time feature because I'm migrating an application. If there is
something better, I will for sure drop that old design time feature and use the
new ones.
Maybe you
should just mark those features as obsolete and then drop them in v3 of the
provider. The migration will be much easier
