Ahh thanks Rafael, that's a rather simple answer.
I'll have to check the change log to see if there are any differences
worth worrying about. I must assume it was causing other people some
problems was it, or been removed to be replaced?

That option is no longer avaiable with DDEX 2.0.4, if you want to use
it you have to install previous versions. So your instalation its OK.

I just noticed recently that in VS2008 using the Firebird ADO.NET
<http://ADO.NET>
Provider 2.5.0.0 for .NET 2.0 and DDEX 2.0.4 that the FbConnection
component ConnectionString property no longer seems to allow access to
the connection string building designer from the Properties
Window. In
fact it doens't seem to have a [...] editor option at all.
Was this removed a while back, or am I perhaps missing a configuration
setting somewhere?
