Hi Kurt,

This sounds like CSCdk22371.  There was a problem in 4.1(6) with
the EHLO most notably with MS Exchange servers.  This was resolved
in 4.2(2).  If you have an account on CCO ( http://www.cisco.com/ )
you can use the bug toolkit to look for problems like these.  I 
don't know why it would just appear like that.
