FYI, Sun has licensed SSH IKE (Internet Key Exchange) for IPSEC, and plans to include it in future versions of Solaris. This means that future versions of Solaris are likely to include support for IPSEC and IKE e.g. for building VPNs. Solaris being the most widely used Unix platform, this is likely to mean that most Unix workstations will be using the SSH IPSEC/IKE implementation in a few years. The SSH implementation has been the reference for IPSEC/IKE interoperability since 1997.
