I am assuming that you have the GNU cc compiler, and it is in a functional
state.
at the root prompt, do the following (dont type the hash mark):
#PATH=/usr/local/bin(or whereever gcc lies, may be
/opt/GNUcc/bin):/usr/ccs/bin:$PATH;export PATH
#make sunos5 CC=gcc
