Hallo Carric,
We are partner of IBM and sell FireWall-1 on AIX. Generally its a really
stable and reliable solution, so I can recommend it. The disadvantage in
my opinion is, that the focus from Checkpoint and others is on WinNT and
Solaris. So some features are not avaiblable for AIX (yet). For example
the hardware based encryption for DES is not available for AIX, as far as
I know. Another example is SecurID from Security Dynamics: Its not
supported for the new version 4.0 of FireWall-1 yet. I hope this will help
