I am in the process of evaluating OSS Firewalls and have stumbled across Ip Filter. I wanted to know if anyone out here has a opinion on it or something similiar like ipf or ipfw. I was looking into the options that I could use to create a firewall at home for my DSL line and was amazed at how powerful and feature rich Ip Filter seems! Not to mention the fact that the software is free! And I can use the same machine as a workstation and not have to buy another workstation or a firewall appliance for that matter!
