I really hate operating system bigots regardless of which side they
are on.
The way I look at it is you should use whatever operating system you need
in order to do the job that needs to be done. If Unix is the best for
your task and situation, use Unix. If Windows NT is the best, use
Windows NT. If RSTS/E is the best, use RSTS/E.
Most, if not all, of the operating system bigots that I've ever met have
serious experience with only the operating system they proclaim as the
only operating system worthy of the name. As a result, when I hear someone
arguing that one system is the best for everyone, I figure he has just
proven that his views on the matter are not to be taken seriously.
