Don't sweat the authentication server; just use the toolkit
without allowing incoming traffic at all. If you have to do
incoming traffic, use ssh for it. Authsrv is not needed, if
you don't want it.

Again, don't sweat http-gw authentication. It never really worked
right anyhow. Http is not a good protocol to have to authenticate,
and those code fragments in there were some research Peter was
doing to see if he could make it work. If you need authentication
for web traffic, use SSL.
