Title: RE: MS Exchange 5.5 server

Outlook 2000 uses MAPI to connect to Exchange (I think that it use TCP port 1043 and 1065, but i'm not sure. On my Exchange server, a lot of clients where connected to these ports.). We use OWA (Outlook Web Acces) to enable users to read their mail (http) or we let them connect to the office using a VPN.

You can also use IMAP4 to read your without risking that your mailbox on the server is empty when you return at the office.
