Competitive information by it's very nature is biased.  Your average competitive matrix is produced by a company to 'prove' it's overall superiority in the market against it's competitors.  You can check each vendor's websites for those, but the thing you will notice is that each competitive matrix will have different criteria lines in order to highlight what THEY do best against the other guys.

However, if you're looking for unbiased bake-offs and reviews, then networkcomputing.com, zdnet.com, tolly.com and cnet.com are some of the places you can start looking.  They may not have the info you're after, but they can usually point you in the right direction.
