It looks like the PIX-520 (running 4.4(7)) that I put into place here is chewing up connections, but I can't tell for certain whether that's the case. In addition, the FTP and URL logging doesn't seem to be working via syslog, which would appear to be by design and not by accident. Is there any way to get that information other than watching ALL the messages on the console, which I definitely don't want to do? For the record, what's happening is that various TCP sessions are dying (to the user's eye; I haven't seen it happen yet) between the client and server. Someone will be retrieving data via FTP or HTTP and the connection will simply stop sending them data. This reportedly happens both during large and small file transfers, and at varying points. What's my best bet in tracking this down? - [To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe firewalls" in the body of the message.]
