Gentlemen, A hearty "Thank You!" to everyone who participates in this list. For lack of the "real" thing, the list has been my mentor for the last two years. Really great stuff. Has anyone successfully implemented an open source firewall/NAT box for the satellite-internet service "Starband" (http://www.starband.com). They claim that a combination of WinProxy and ZoneAlarm is the only supported/known configuration. It comes in off their dish (actually DISH network's) through their modem and into a USB port of a "Win2K or Win98SE" box. (Probably means no one there in support is paid enough to know MORE...) Yuk. I'd rather dedicate a box that does Linux Hardware Req's than Win2k Req's. Naturally. Anyone tried to do this with an Open Source OS and firewall? _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com - [To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe firewalls" in the body of the message.]
