BTW, I'm not sure if I really should trust the statistics on this page:

According to this page there is not a single active user on sunday
evening (23:57 UTC) while the FlightGear multiplayer network has
approx. 20 pilots on-line. If this is really the case, then I wonder
for which reason FlightGear developers and/or users should bite the
bullet of tolerating a multiplayer solution which involves linking to a
binary-only library.
