My name is Marcel Fernandez, I´m from Uruguay. I have been
following the Flight Gear Proyect for 2 years.
Besides working in a software company developing in c/c++, I'm a private
pilot and air traffic controller.
I recond that the Flight Gear is a terrific project and very interesting
from the point of view of architecture, programming and technical
fundamentals.
I´m thinking about creating a development team here in Uruguay to help you
in development tasks such us sceneries, airplanes, airport development, etc.
My idea is to take advantage of my technical knowledge and help with the
modelling of my country's airports. I saw that Uruguayan sceneries are a
little out of date.
Apart from that I´m specially interested in the OpenRadar project. I am a
member of the Vatsim network but I would like to help you improve the
Flight Gear's multiplayer network (controllers client, etc).
Can anyone please help me get started formally in your project? For
example: giving me tasks or letting me know how to help the development team
of FG.
